ST IG experts took part in the meeting of the Public Environmental Council

The meeting of the Public Environmental Council of the Governor of the Leningrad Region on the ‘Forms of Joint Work of Public Environmental Organizations, Entrepreneurs and State Environmental and Supervisory Bodies’ was held on the basis of the Association of the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in November 14, 2017.

The meeting was devoted to discussing the results of regional environmental protection measures implemented in the past year and drawing attention to problematic issues. Representatives of Safe Technologies were invited to participate as experts due to their respected reputation in the field of production and development of environment protection technologies and equipment.

The Governor of the Leningrad Region Aleksandr Drozdenko, representatives of the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, public organizations, entrepreneurs and experts attended the event. The problems of interaction between Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region in the field of waste management, the ecological state of the Leningrad region (landfills, forests, water resources and shores, agricultural and medical waste), regulatory framework, public inspections, prosecutor’s supervision, etc. were discussed.

Such meetings promote bilateral interaction between legislators and contractors as part of solving ecologically important problems of the region.
