Modular unit for radioactive wastewater treatment for PJSC Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant put into operation

This May, Safe Technologies IG engineers commissioned a modular plant for treatment of industrial effluents at the industrial site of Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant (NCCP). All works on manufacturing, delivery, installation supervision, equipment start-up and Customer’s personnel training were performed by or within ST IG and its subdivisions on a “turn-key” basis.

The unit allows to process industrial wastewater of NCCP site separating harmful substances from effluent and either reusing treated water back in the main process or discharging it to the communal sewage system.

This one is not the first case of cooperation between NCCP and Safe Technologies IG. The latter manufactured for the former the system of utilization of industrial effluents containing radionuclides on the basis of evaporator plant for effluent concentration.

It should be reminded that liquidation of radioactive waste storage facilities is one of the key directions of NCCP environmental policy. The competence and experience of ST IG is sufficient to supply effective process solutions for nuclear industry waste management.
