Safe Technologies held educational workshop

Oil production and oil refinery waste thermal treatment workshop together with process equipment presentation took place in Saint Petersburg at Radisson Hotel on 25-26 of February. The two-day event included an educational seminar and pyrolysis plant presentation at Safe Technologies’ production site.

More than 70 participants took part in workshop, there were representatives of Russian and foreign companies. The presentation was attended by representatives of JSC Gazprom Neft, Zarubezhneft JSC, OAO NGK Slavneft, OOO LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez, Rosneft Oil Company, and other oil production, oil refinery and service companies.

The fist day was dedicated to the processing of drill cuttings and drilling fluids. After the end of the theoretical part in a hotel the participants were driven to the Safe Technologies production site, where they saw the operation of Thermal Decomposition Plant – equipment developed for the conversion of hydrocarbon waste, including oil and drilling sludge, drill cuttings, acid sludge and waste drilling fluids with a recovery of valuable products – dry residue and liquid fuel.

On the second day, the visitors and Safe Technologies experts in ecology and process engineering discussed the issues related to the processing of oil sludge in the form of question-answer.

The first workshop aroused much interest of the industry’s leading companies. Thus, the series of the presentations are going to be organized this year.
