Railways has presented unique developments of Safe Technologies at ECOTECH exhibition

Crocus Expo, Moscow exhibition center, held the ECOTECH international environmental innovations trade show on 26-29 of April 2016. JSC Russian Railways, leading Russian railway company, presented at its stand unique developments of Safe Technologies Inc.

Architectural model of КТО-1000.Ш. Waste Thermal Treatment Plant designed for the end-of-life sleepers’ utilization drew the attention of participants and guests. The complex for sleepers processing was made by special order of Russian Railways and placed at Tagul railway station. Automatic loading of sleepers integrally in the furnace, high capacity of 1000 kg/h and a powerful gas cleaning system – all these features of the plant makes it truly unique.

Representatives of Russian Railways discussed another project of Safe Technologies – KTO-500 Waste Thermal Treatment Plant. The project was developed for the Scientific Production Center for Environmental Protection (Yaroslavl), structural unit of Russian Railways, responsible for ensuring environmental safety in enterprises and railway facilities. The plant is equipped with a heat recovery system and a steam turbine, which allow producing 150 kW/h of electricity for the needs of the facility.

The implementation of environmental strategies of Russian Railways on reducing the burden on the environment made a bet on ST IG, domestic manufacturer of environmental protection equipment.
