Patent for technology and waste gas purification plant of ST IG make
Safe Technologies patented the technology for hazardous toxic gases purification. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and pollutants, the emissions of which inevitably accompany the activities of industrial enterprises. The Federal Service for Intellectual Property registered the patent on July 5, 2017.
The innovative development of specialists of ST IG — catalytic purification plant meets the challenges not covered by existing technologies of gas purification. Previously patented solutions, other than those offered by ST‘s professionals, have a number of disadvantages: a narrow range of concentrations of organic compounds, a narrow range of performance; significant dimensions and, as a consequence, the complexity in the transportation, installation and commissioning of the equipment.
The technology developed by Safe Technologies Industrial Group enables significantly expanding the range of working concentrations and ensures the proper degree of gas neutralization due to two-stage purification – absorption/condensation and catalytic afterburning.
The catalyst, developed by the specialists of the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS, with an active component — platinum, has an extremely low content of this noble metal. This is achieved by applying nanodispersed platinum particles to the glass-fiber support. The content of precious metals does not exceed 0.01-0.03% of the catalyst mass, while in other manufacturers this figure reaches from 0.1% to 5%, significantly increasing the cost of the equipment.
The modular design of catalytic system ensures surge top performance without overhaul, and small plant size (20’, 40’ containers) appreciably simplifies any transportation.
Proprietary turn-key ready equipment is going to be assembled at the production site of Safe Technologies, Inc.
