Industrial equipment shipped for oil refinery Bashneft-UNPZ

At the end of 2019 another batch of equipment was shipped to the production site of JSOC Bashneft branch — Bashneft-UNPZ oil refinery. The set of equipment includes a steam superheater, heat recovery boiler drum, a steam separator, a combustion chamber and is made within the framework of the project «Reserve process line of sulphur production». This process line represents the furnace for afterburning of hydrogen sulphide tailings and petroleum gases using the Klaus method. To date, the Claus method is the most common method of hydrocarbon gases purification from sulfur compounds to produce elementary sulfur.

The furnace is designed for oxidation of residual hydrogen sulfide and other sulfur compounds to sulfur dioxide in the presence of excess air by mixing with hot flue gases obtained from the combustion of natural/fuel gas.

This is not the first order of JSOC Bashneft executed by Safe Technologies IG. The project was implemented in accordance with the policy of import substitution. The equipment was manufactured at the production facilities of Sosnovoborsk Machine-Building Plant. Lining ceramic mixtures are made at the SMZ refractory lining shop, according to the customer’s request — with a double reserve of heat resistance. The furnace is lined by forces of Industrial Group specialists.
