Incinerator I-1 of ST IG make successfully continues to operate at the site of OJSC Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery
Incinerator I-1, launched at the end of April 2017, successfully continues to operate at the site of OJSC Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery within the tar oxidation complex. Bitumen oxidation gases and vented emission at the bitumen running area is treated in the combustion chamber of the incinerator tube furnace, generating heat for MT-300 ОM transfer oil used as a process coolant to heat the bitumen before being fed to the oxidation column.
Thus, the process flow of the bitumen vent loss section is closed to the incinerator. This carries a certain risk, as in the case of downtime, the entire production site will be stopped. However, due to reliable control systems, additionally strengthened by almost full redundancy of all sensors and appropriate software logic, the maximum safety of production is ensured. To date, the incinerator I-1 based on a tubular furnace operates routinely.
Recall that the equipment for the Omsk Refinery was manufactured at production facilities of Sosnovy Bor Metal Works, which is a part of ST IG, and the installation and commissioning works were carried out by the subdivision of the enterprise forces, which enabled to implement the project turnkey.
Long-term experience of cooperation of Safe Technologies, Inc. with the leading enterprises of the oil refining industry enables ST IG to occupy a worthy market of the design and manufacture of systems for the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation.
