Final shipment for oil refining complex Bashneft UNPZ

The final shipment of equipment for the project ‘Standby process train of sulphur production unit’ for the oil refining complex Bashneft UNPZ (branch of PJSC ANK Bashneft) was made from two production sites of Safe Technologies IG (Saint-Petersburg and Ufa).

The core process equipment for the project of tail gas afterburning unit was delivered to the customer’s site as early as the end of 2019. The current shipment includes components for process pipelines, pipes, instrumentation and control equipment, PLC equipment and the burner.

The whole project has been completed to the great extent within import substitution requirements: the producers of the purchased equipment are Russian companies. This explains the shipment from two cities, it was carried out on a geographical basis in order to optimize logistics.

Also, the main process equipment, including the furnace for afterburning of the SO₂ and other sulfur compounds to sulphur dioxide, has been manufactured and lined on industrial sites of Safe Technologies IG  in St. Petersburg and Ufa. Lining materials have also been manufactured within ST Industrial Group.
