Marine incinerator for Vostochnaya Verf JSC shipped from the site of ST Inc.
The shipbord incineration plant KTO-50 made under the order of the shipbuilding company Vostochnaya Verf JSC (Vladivostok), left the production site of Safe Technologies JSC in April for installation on a sea tanker. The project was implemented as part of the state order.
A compact single-chamber marine incinerator is designed for thermal neutralization of solid municipal and food waste, as well as oil-containing waste generated during the ship operation. The flue gases formed in the combustion process are fed into a general ship afterburning system.
KTO-50 is provided with a complete package of licensing documents confirming the equipment compliance with modern environmental and industrial safety requirements, including the certificate of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS). The plant has also successfully passed the tests for compliance with the standard technical requirements for ship incinerators of Resolution MEPC.244 (66) and the Oil Pollution Prevention Regulations of the MARPOL 73/78 Convention.
Earlier, Safe Technologies has implemented a project under the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation – the development and manufacture of a model range of ship incinerators as part of the state program on import substitution.
