Expanding the horizons of international cooperation: participation of ST Inc. in the business mission of the CELAC countries

Safe Technologies Industrial Group took part in the presentation seminar as part of the business mission Exchange of Technological Solutions and Innovations between the CELAC Countries and the North-West Federal District of the Russian Federation. The event was held during the zero days of the XXI Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Government of Saint-Petersburg.

On May 29, the leading manufacturing enterprises of the northern capital presented their products and technologies for the oil and gas, energy and other industries to delegates from 33 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean at the site of REP Holding. A representative of Safe Technologies told about what the Russian business could offer to potential partners from CELAC in the field of environmental protection equipment and ensuring environmental safety.

Latin American countries have a relatively young but intensively developing industrial infrastructure. Along with the increasing pace of the economic growth, the business community and governments are worried about reducing the harmful impact of industrial emissions on the atmosphere. In this regard, catalytic gas purification systems produced by ST Inc. aroused a keen interest of the audience. Joint research and development of the industrial group and Russian scientists, as part of the current R&D, will result in a unique technology for neutralizing emissions based on the process of deep catalytic oxidation of a wide range of organic compounds on a platinum catalyst.

The audience was also presented with high-tech solutions for the waste and polluted industrial effluent management: pyrolysis equipment for waste recycling based on thermal neutralization, industrial waste thermal disposal facilities, and industrial wastewater purification systems for MSW landfills leachate.

At the end of the conference, the CELAC delegates, interested in the company’s developments, visited the production site of the enterprise, and discussed ways and prospects for cooperation with representatives of the manufacturer of environmental protection equipment.
