Starting a new production of UFC and low-methanol formalin based on ST proprietary process: expert opinion!

On December 5, the launch of the updated production facilities of UFC and low-methanol formalin at the site of Sibmetakhim came off. Turnkey project was implemented by Safe Technologies IG.

The Head of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin and Production Deputy Director of Sibmetakhim Alexander Vdovin commented on such an important event for the region:

‘Reconstruction can solve many problems — increase in output, process reliability. And all that  is produced here and will be consumed in the Tomsk region,’ marked the Governor of Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin at the production launching ceremony.

‘Now the complex, which includes nine objects, could be placed on the six hectares, the area previously occupied by 30. This is a more technological and modern production. Eventually we got a completely new product of low toxicity and relatively wide range of applications,’ said the Deputy Director of the Production Alexander Vdovin.

TASS news agency reported on plans for further modernization of production and investment program of Sibmetakhim.

‘The program is in two stages: first — when we grow in capacity from 2.5 tons to 2.8 tons per day, the second stage — up to 3 thousand tons per day…. This year we have implemented the first phase, the new production figures achieved. Further increase — plus two years, i.e. in 2019,’  Alexander Vdovin told reporters.
